What is a Ruuky Debit Mastercard?

A Debit Mastercard is NOT a credit card. As with a German Girocard (EC card), the payment is charged directly from the account. You are over 18 years old?
Then you can open your new bank account including the Debit Mastercard immediately and in a few minutes in the app. After that, youll get immediate access to all important features and can order your Debit Mastercard.


Are you under 18?

Thats easy, too! Then a parent can complete the account opening process for you digitally in just a few minutes. Simply download the app, open an account and share it with your parents. Your parents can activate your bank account easily and fast. By the way, one parent is enough to activate the account.

During account activation, your parents get their own web access, with which they can top up the bank account in real time and use a recurring pocket money assistant. In addition, the web access gives them the option to freeze or block the Ruuky Debit Mastercard in case of emergency. This access for parents will automatically expire once you turn 18 years old.

When is the account activated?

To get a first impression of your new bank account, you first open a user account. This will give you access to the discovery feed and allow you to browse the banking app. To activate the bank account, simply follow the instructions in the app and all other features will be activated automatically with it.
